Baton Twirling Class

Our baton twirling class offers a blend of baton skills and tricks, complemented by footwork and dance. This class is perfect for children who enjoy music, dancing, and performing. It is open to children ages 3 yeard old through 8th grade.

The baton program is divided into two sessions throughout the year. Session 1 takes place from mid-October to Thanksgiving, focusing on honing baton skills and mastering footwork and dance steps. Session 2 occurs from early January until the recital date, typically scheduled between late March and early April. During this session, participants will learn two choreographed routines set to music that will be showcased in our annual recitals.

Students are encouraged to wear snug-fitting clothing that allows for movement, such as leotards, leggings, or athletic wear. Hair should be neatly tied up, and participants may choose to wear ballet shoes or go barefoot. Each child needs a metal rod and a rubber-tipped baton, which can be purchased directly through the studio. Additionally, every child will require a costume that will be worn for parades, picture day, dress rehearsal, and the recitals. *Fundraising is offered to help offset the cost of costumes and tuition.
